The Penn State Alumni Association

What’s been happening:

When I first went to Penn State, I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life. And when I graduated from State,a lot wiser, I still wasn't sure. Yet after 40+ years in the teaching profession, I still have questions. But I know one thing: I wouldn't change my teaching experience one bit. In 1970 I made a dulcimer from a kit that I purchased in Colorado. Shortly thereafter, I married my lovely wife, Vicki. We spent a generation raising four wonderful children. I recently picked up the dulcimer (after a 39 year journey), tuned and cleaned it, and finally I'm learning how to play it. The music it plays almost sounds elusive---interwoven with life's memories. I think it waited for me. Tony G '67
